Craft Central Gets Hitched - save the date!

After the success of the first 'Craft Central Gets Hitched' handmade wedding fair in 2011, the event is returning in 2012! Stunning handmade wedding - with handmade cushions!!

I'm so excited to share these stunning photos (by Matthew David Harrison) of Sarah's gorgeous handmade wedding!

Sarah managed to get everyone involved in making - friends made the cakes, the card box and hand woven wooden wreaths, someone's dad even made the ale - but Sarah herself (who runs handmade dress label Dora Ann's) took on the task of making her own wedding dress (using parts of her Mum's wedding dress!) and her two bridesmaid dresses.

My absolute favourite handmade touch were the 21 cushions Sarah also made to keep her guests comfy and, best of all, the guests got to take them home at the end of the day!

I love how Meeni's range of stationery and table decorations, with their Victorian Decoupage style, manage to be vintage but with a great sense of fun - my favourites are her table decorations
